The new dark eldar look like great conversion material in general. Are these all plastics? If so I might actually get in on them.

They're almost all plastic, yes.

GW continues to be ~10 years ahead of everyone else on their plastics production.  I have a number of friends in the mini-producing field who's jaws drop every time they see one of GW's new sprues.

If only they could write a game that wasn't just a dice filter with pretty models :P

Well, the non-franchise games they made were always their best (BB, Man O'War, Necromunda, etc.). But I agree, their adherence to the GW d6 table is tiresome. It's like the concept of a dice pool would make someone's head explode in Nottingham.

My only problem is that I hate giving GW money... but I want the figs. I feel like a fundamentalist business man who can't charge interest. :(

If they could only write a game that didn't get rewritten and forced down our throats ever 4years. I'm fine with revision and change but the scale they do it on is retarded. They need to upgrade with the times of PDF rules and changes that don't alienate their customer base. Their models are dynamic and ahead of the time their polices should be as well. Anyway I think I will be picking up some of the Dark Eldar for painting and conversion I don't think I'll be getting back into 40K.

Well, as long as fan boys keep buying their books... At least one good thing is that the industry as a whole seem seems to be offering free PDF rulebooks. The LRB model makes sense when you consider how the internet is making it easier to identify and fix flaws the designers couldn't anticipate.

Ryan, could you post a picture of the sprue when you get them?

BTW, does anybody know of a site that does a good job of showing what you get on each plastic set's sprues?

The Miniatures section about halfway through the first post has a ton of good pics (including some sprue pics).

Sweet, thanks Andy!

The best thing about the Wyche sprue is that the limbs are each independently positionable:

The incubi could be cool blitzers, but I'm guessing you'd need to chop the hips and legs a bit to make them look less static:

Well I think I would like to split a box with somebody as we only need enough positionals for a team, could also mix and match with a Dark Elf boxset.
