Rookie treeman rolls doubles
« on: August 15, 2015, 06:13:40 AM »
Tough choice: block, pro, jump up? I like block because it keeps him upright, whereas jump up gets him back in the game. Pro is a compromise between the two. Not sure what is the most useful.

I think between Block and Jump-Up you can't go wrong.  My preference is Jump-Up, because he stands up easier and why not Go-for-it to make him more mobile?  Meshes well with Break tackle later on.

Hopefully most of your blocks are 2-die, if not 3 die, so Block is awesome, but Jumpup helps keep him in the game and minimizes his down time when knocked down.

Pro. Hands down. Not only does it help with all the down sides of the tree man you'll never use a trr on him again. Take my advice. S.

pass block, mostly because he's so tall he should be able to catch anything.

Pro.  No other choice even comes close.  Cuts your take roots basically in half and helps with everything else.  It's all about stopping the take root.

Choose Pro!
Block is a great first skill, but Pro is gonna keep your tree from rooting as often.
And if you pass the root check, you can use it on a failed block, or go for it roll.

With WEs you have loner vs the Rerolls. Then again I would usually hit last with a Big guy. So I would think hard about taking Jump up. I would then go with old fateful and choose Block. Less likely to go down on your own hits with him, making him a first to use every turn.
