Does a Slann team need a Krox?

Thinking about taking Slann to Spike! Never played them before. How useful is the Krox on this team?
Waste of TV or don't leave home without?

I think he adds reliability to the team. Str 3 means you have a hard time making a mess of the pitch without him.

I am 2 sided on this. I like the Krox because he soaks up hits and has a higher AV. I also think he is more of a cost of a Blitzer. I like the Blitzers. I was thinking about Slann as well for a future Tourney and I would take a Krox, but as a Lineman. 3-4 guys to get a 2 dice hit on one player. That Clusters the players which is a good thing for the mobility of Slann. You can build a team with 2 Blitzers, a Krox, 1-2 Catchers and fill in the blanks with Linemen. Plus 3 RRS. Not a bad Slann team. The problem with Slann is that people including myself, try to play like an Elf team. They need to be played like Humans that are better passers and catchers.
